[Solved] Migration of SONAR X3 Producer from 2014 to 2016

I do not access to the my previous e-mail address.  I bought SONAR X3 Producer in 2014 and registered under previous e-mail prior to a physical move in 2014.  Now, attempting to use Producer in 2016 under a new e-mail address I cannot download any updates at all nor does it recognize the software registration code.  It states that the software is registered to someone else.  From other posts it appears that the only solution is for the intervention of Cakewalk Product Support.  The problem was identified to Cakewalk three weeks ago and I am still in a holding pattern.  I am seriously considering changing to another DAW as this has not been resolved despite commitments from Cakewalk Product Support.  I appreciate any and all help.
