Am listening as I write, sounds OK, no point in overall comments as you have not applied the polish and there are better peeps than me to talk mix here.

I look forward to the finished tune.

The translation is fine and the overall song is tremendous. I think you should go on American Idol.

Lovin' it so far really cool groove going on, love that dirty but clean rhythm sound. I here a bit of Brian May in the stye of this at times and that's a really cool thing IMO. Love the vocals so far. This will be epic indeed. Looking forward to hearing final mix.

Great song, great writing, great performance, and great mix. Perhaps the vox could come forward just a smidge throughout the song but especially at around 3:40 (really nice harmonies there that seem to get lost in the mix.) Of course this is just the way it translates on my system.

    Really nice job!

This really sounds good.  It has great separation.  The vox sounds great but I agree it could come up front a bit more (imho).

    Nice one!!!

thanks man, yea, brian may was a heavy influence a long time ago.

    vox forward, check.
lots of folks like super loud lead vox, as a rule.
i'd say, just for future reference, i prefer my stuff to mix more like a classic rock mix..
but i'll definitely review the vox, see if it ducks down with some really quiet listening, and then really loud, which is what i do as the last step.

vox up, seems to be the common thing...
by the way, where is Lutz florida? i grew up in jax, and traveled all over florida gigging thru the 80's but never landed in lutz....

    thanks man.
    bigger kick.....
you mean, eq wise, or a different kick sound altogether?
this is done with superior, and it is the AVATAR kit......
but i have other selections available, as well as being able to tweak the 'note' of the kick lower..

as a matter of fact, i had the kick decay set at about 500ms, and i moved it out to full, which is something longer than 1.25s, maybe that alone will do it....
    good ear.
