Feedback, or blessing? Blessing, no can do. Y'all ought to be ashamed of lyric like that. "Raw" is one thing; this stuff is downright offensive.

I didn't think anyone was still recording music for single speaker "systems" ... but lo, here it is. Mono music for the masses. Why bother with two of everything when you can have one of one thing? The mix only serves to cover up all the bad things that must be lurking under the "Parental advisory".

    Smalltimeent,

What can I say – rap isn’t really my kind of music but I figured I’d check it out anyway. Sure, the sounds could be a bit better and the mix more interesting – all things you can fix and mess with until you’re totally happy. As far as the lyrics, well…they sound so angry and aggressive that they just keep me from enjoying the track. But you’re saying what you feel like saying and it’s your tune. Any way – at least you’re doing it – making your music (some people just talk about making music) – good for you.

I thought it was a good rap, but from a technical point of view the recording is terrible . This is a diverse group so obviously some people are quite offended by it.

production quality is quite poor. sounds like a 64kbps mp3 even though winamp tells me 128. sounds like you need to invest in a good microphone.

lyrics are pretty uninspired as well.

I suggest you take these tracks back to the drawing board...

    Dang, smalltime!

I'm listening to Unknown - and, fortunately, I'm home alone. I think you already have some sincere critiquing of the production quality. And, yeah, the lyrics are offensive.

OTOH, the overall piece seems totally on-genre. I felt like I was in my car at a stop-light being pummeled by music from the car next to me.
