getting old vsts into new update (from scratch) -

my computer  died and I have to reinstall Cakewalk - I have some old vsts I want to hang on to, but I have nothing cakewalk on the computer yet; I wanted to just start by installing my latest version (which is X2); but i want to install the VSTs from the older versions - can I do this, and how - just install the X2 and install the effects folders from older versions?  Where do I find those - I would certainly rather do it that way than install older complete versions, then uninstall - appreciate the help.

Each version of SONAR has an advanced install option which permits selecting components (such as individual plug-ins) to install. The only problem I am aware of is installing the X series core programs out of sequence. For example installing X1 SONARPDR after X3 SONARDR can result in new PC modules being overwritten. This is not a problem when running advanced installs of older versions just to get plug-ins.
