It allows you to make sure that all keystrokes are captured by that plug-in while the plug-in window has focus. So, for instance, SONAR won't grab any keystrokes for itself while that plug-in window is in focus.

Useful if you want to type a name for a folder in a plugin like PLAY or something. I always was fustrated when I named a folder called "My Samples" the space would trigger the project to start playing instead of actually putting in a space between "My" and "Samples"

It's when you press a key on your PC keyboard. They call that a keystroke.

Well Charlie, this is nothing short of what I expect to land
on my desktop: your production (sir) mp3 at that is 1st
class production , Metal Works-The Snake could of not
    done better, acid test ns10's pass'd jbl 4312's pass'd
    Bob R. Bob L. mastering monitors..pass'd. i then chk'd
against A known production recorded at my studio sent
to mix at Les Studio and then masterd at SNB montreal.
your tracks stack up, yes you have a song and yes the
tracking is very well done and yes I see no reason a major wouldnt cut you deal..i could go on, but the production speaks for its self, take a bow, you have balls

    >>when I named a folder called "My Samples" the space would trigger the project to start playing instead of actually putting in a space between "My" and "Samples" <<

This is because you were under the influence of the tyranny of the "MY"

My docs, my pics, my car, my sessions, my vids, my mouse, my my my.

This is related to the insanity of the "YOUR"  as in your mouse, your clip, your song,...

These examples reflect some very stupid language:I sleep good and you wake up refreshed,....

Way too many instruction manuals waste significant space, ink, paper and time using "YOUR" and all its variants.

So, don't file everything under "M"  use other letters of the alphabet.

And do all you can to restrain yourself from speaking about yourself in the 2nd person universal.  You will sound and feel more like an intelligent adult.

    Thanks, Lane and Billy!

The book is almost here... hurray! I'm looking forward to it too. The kindle edition isn't up on Amazon yet, but I know they're working on it. As soon as it's ready, I'll be updating the X1 page on my Power Books site with a link...
