groove clips- issue with tempo in loop explorer

Ok, so I'm trying to use loop explorer to audition some acidized and groove clipped audio loops. My problem is this: I have a project open and set to spicific bpm. Because the various loops are set at different bpm, they often sound terrible because Sonar is matching them to the current project tempo. As a result, I can't make a clear judgement on what I'm hearing. So, is there a way to make sonar play these acidized/groove clipped loops in the loop explorer without conforming them to the current project temo so that I can here them in their original tempo? Is there a way to turn this tempo syncing off? I'm not importing theses loops into the project, I'm just trying to hear them in their original tempo using loop explorer. I'm using sonar 8, studio edition. Thanks for any help.

For anyone who is interested, VLC Media Player will play loop files (16 and 24 bit) rapid fire quick in their native tempo.
