guitar tracks 4 not responding

guitar tracks 4 not responding

recently got a V Studio 20, and installed all the necessary drivers and programs
when starting up guitar tracks 4 and Vs20 editor, it all goes well until i press a track select button, which freezes up Guitar Tracks 4
i tried Crtl+Alt+Del and tried to end the program, end process and nothing will make the frozen program quit
even shutting down the whole computer only leaves it repeatedly in the shutting down screen, and ive had to disconnect the power to get it to turn off every time
the program hasnt worked at all and only serves to say Not Responding and wont end the program no matter what i do
has anyone else had this problem?
