help a Newbie- aligning tracks-solved, disable snap

I have recorded several audio tracks of a song from a digital recorder to X1 and now need to line them up in X1. They have a common count-in click on all tracks for reference but a slightly different start time because I didn't hit start(on BR800) and record (on X1) at the same time for each track. (BR800 USB connection) I can "Move" them but it's not very accurate and seems to go in tiny jumps and the jumps don't end up exact. What's the best process for this situation? I understand a better way in this case would be to export the tracks to Wav and then import but I'm using this as an exercise in aligning tracks.

    Hit N to disable snap, and you'll be able to drag feely. X1 made it more difficult to do this kind of alignment because you can't drag a clip while the Edit Filter is set to Transients so you can see the transient markers. 


    What you'll have to do is get it close by eyeball, and ear, then set the Edit Filter to Transients on all tracks, zoom in, and use Nudge to adjust the clip positions. Go to Preferences > Customization > Snap and Nudge, and set Nudge 1, 2 and 3 values to something like 44, 11 and 1 samples (for working at 44kHz) to allow you to nudge by fractions of a millisecond until you get close, and then by samples until you're right on. Using Ctrl with 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9 on your NumKey pad will speed this up.
