help cleaning up UAD plugins in Sonar's plugin manager

Hi:  Months ago I installed the version 6.4 upgrade 64bit UAD2 plugins when that version came out and all went well; i have since updated to 6.51 and 6.52. All works well.  HOWEVER, I see that I have three sets of UAD plugins when I only need two sets (64bit mono and 64bit stereo).  The three sets I see in my plugin manager are as follows:
1-----Program files (x86)\cakewalk\vstplugins\powered plugins\
2-----Program files\steinberg\vstplugins\Powered Plugins\mono\
3-----Program files\universal audio\Powered Plugins\

Since I do not use 32bit programs anymore and have no projects unfinished that would need the ones in the 32bit folder (x86), can I just delete these to save space in my plugin manager?  Is there any reason to keep these?  Will UAD work with just the two 64bit sets in Program files (one being mono the other being stereo)?

Apparently I hit the plugin limit (BAPU would know about this) and got a message warning that I needed to clean up the plugin manager layouts as I was over the plugin limit.  I am deleting some older 32bit plugins that I never use, but thought that it would be good to clean up the UAD2 plugins and remove what I did not need nor ever use.

Just thought I would ask you experts on this gear forum to make sure its okay before I do something dumb.  So, can the 32bit UAD plugins be removed and will the remaining 64bit mono and stereo UAD2 plugins still work fine?

It's my understanding that the only folder you need in 64bit is the Steinberg path.  I got rid of my others and everything still works fine.  HTH.

Just remember to backup everything in case you have to backtrack.

Where you come from is gone...where you thought you were goin to weren't never there...and where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

I managed to end up once with multiple instances like you have - I have always chosen a path for the powered plug ins folder and not just accepted where the installer wants to instal them.
Once when I was upgrading I MISSED that the installer was NOT upgrading my existing g plug ins but basically installing a whole new lot of them!
    I only realised later.
This was a couple of years ago so normal caveats re backing up etc, but if I remember correctly, I just deleted the ones I had just installed, re-installed picking the correct path, then I was back to the normal amount of plug ins.
    Hope this helps

    Thanks to both of you.

When I read back then that some forum posters had trouble with the v6.4 install, I deliberately let the UAD installer just do its thing knowing that I could point Sonar X2's plugin manager scan path to the UAD locations.  Now that you two have said it is okay, I will just first delete the scan path to the x86/32bit dll's.  Then, if all is fine, I will delete the 32bit UAD dlls themselves and reclaim that little space.

    You have helped.  Thanks.
