guys i new to this recording thing so i need your help
ummm i am trying to record some vocals but i dont know how to actually set it up
what do u i need to record my vocals besides my voice? like what types of equipment?

An audio interface would be nice. http://homerecording.beaglesound.com/9.html Or there is a way to use a microphone plugged into your PC soundcard using an 1/8" adapter.  Or you could buy a USB microphone. As you can tell by the 's, this is really not the best way to go. Mike

One microphone, one audio recorder, one soundcard that will function with your audio recorder software... Beyond that, I could spend thousands of $$ of your money if you really want to "do it right"...

I'd recommend going through the Tutorials, esp. Tutorial 3--Recording Digital Audio. This should answer some of your basic questions.

The easiest way is to buy a sound card with mic pre's and get a condensor mic with a chord. stay away from USB mics, like Mike said above or This is not only the easiest way, its the best way Cj

"Help!" was released on DVD in November 2007. I thought it was well publicized, but perhaps you missed it. Its been digitally restored and has a 5.1 soundtrack. I don't have it, but its on my wish list too.
