help me remember...

I have this song in the Songs forum and it has some killer sax part by my friend here on the forum, Rich Arizmendi (psalmist35).  Rich's sax is really good, IMO, I love what he came up with for this song.

anyway, I keep thinking about sax players and I remember this video from the '80's with a sax player in someone's song and the guy was enormous!  his six pack had a six pack and his biceps were bigger than my legs (and that's sayin a lot!).   And in the video he was playing without a shirt and was all sweaty...

but I can't remember who the band was or who the sax player was or even what the song was.  I just remember his "moves" as he laid out the sexy sax lines...

anyone remember that?

Mesh - close, but not the one!  actually I was thinking it might have been in Bruce's band, but the guy I'm thinking of was not African-American.

Sax reminds me of Kenny G, which then reminds me that I need to empty out my trunk.

Oh, and that picture reminds me of the 80's, which reinforces the need for selective memories.

danny - that's not the video I'm remembering, but I do believe that's the sax player I was trying to remember!

I only described his physique here because it's clearly a memorable part of his persona.  but I really liked his sax playing.  very soulful - great technique.

Rich's sax parts remind me of him.

nope.  I had never heard of Sergio, so I googled him.  looks like he's an SNL skit from this decade, so no cookies for you!

besides - look at those wimpy arms!  that's NOT the same guy from the '80's with huge biceps!!!

Reece, this man crush you have on some guy in a video from the 80's is a little disturbing. I wish you luck in finding your long lost video buddy though.

Somewhere, along the extensive mathmatical journey, the thought occurs that one may be spending way too much time fixating on this particular image.  One also may suspect that one should not research such things on the large screen monitor in the conference room during the course of a meeting.

One may begin to theorize that the resulting social complications were all a part of an intricate, diabolical revenge plot conceived by Beagle in retaliation for alleged "Becan Pilfering".
