help with guitar track pro

Can someon e please tell if i can record an mp3 karaoke file in one track and voice on another, and if so how i tried everything and i cant do it

    Convert your MP3 file to a wav. file. Put it on desktop. Start a new file/project and call it what you want. Import the file to your new project. Add your vocal to a track then bounce to file. Hope that helps.
