high pitch hiss while recording vocals?

Hi, I am messing around with vocals as you know. I am plugged into my fast track pro with my condenser mic. Phantom power on. when I record the track and play it back their is a high pitch hiss or hum underneath the vocal. any ideas. Echo Input is off. I tested it in a new project to see if it still had the hiss and it does. :(

Never mind. I blew out where I plug in the mic and it stopped. must of had some dust in their. so sensitive. or it might have been from having my guitar plugged in at the same time in the 1 input with the phantom power on. Their are 2 inputs

I had a fast track that had the pre amps go bad. Keep an eye out.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

    Welcome to the forum, kennybound.
But you're in the wrong forum and this thread has nothing to do with quantizing or X3. Try the SONAR forum
