hmmm... bugs?

ok, I finally found some time to dig deeper again into Sonar X1.

1) I wanted to setup some busses, like in Cubase, for Studio Mixes, Main Mix etc... so I created and deleted busses and tweaked along when suddenly I could not find all busses in a tracks output config... busses that exist were not presented in the menu when configuring a tracks/bus output, or send destination... weird...

anyone else?

2) grouping send switches.
create three busses, bus1, bus2. Set bus1/bus2 output to "none", bus3 to your speakers. set send1 of bus1 and bus2 to bus3. switch off send1 of bus2. right click send1 switch of bus2 and chose group "A". right click send1 switch of bus1 and chose group "A", too.

now create an audio track, output to bus1, send1 to bus2 (lower level) and play back an audio file.

when you switch send1 of bus1 or bus2, the send1 switch of the other bus2 or bus1 toggles too.

the gui does reflect this, but the audio engine does not. The routing doesn't reflect the send switches... can someone confirm?

3) automation write.
if I click on "W" for a synth in the synth rack and record some automation, I afterwards can't switch "W" off... the button in the synth rack doesn't react. I have to use the "global W" in the control bar module to switch "W" off again...

and so on, and so on... weird things going on, "somehow" unreliable...

Can someone confirm anything, or is it just me? (latest build 255)

is it so hard to answer briefly? :(

How do you setup Sonar X1 to have a main mix and a cue mix and switch monitorin either one @ the same hardware output with the push of a button? Like "monitor main mix / monitor heaphone mix"?

How do you record automation? Don't you push the "W" button in the synth rack to record enable automation and don't you push it again to switch record enable automation off (which doesn't work here, as the button gets disabled when automation has been recorded)

And why does nobody take a few seconds just to check something out and provide feedback? Makes me sad. And I'm frustrated with these quirks, already filed a bug report and did not get an answer, not even a reception confirmation, nothing... Left alone here...

Nope, sorry. Never seen this happening. Every bus I create is available as an output destination for tracks.

Again, this isn't what I see on my system. The 'W' responds as it should do i.e. a toggle switch.

Can't comment on your 2nd point as I haven't tried this and am miles away from my DAW
