My left elbow was hurting, and since the sky didn't look like rain, I knew it must be a sign to check the CW forums.

Oh, and because like the poster above mentioned, the sticky said so.

I've haven't got X1 installed and I got the update email.

I'd sell you the email but Cakewalk doesn't allow you to sell anything that's remotely like a slow running pastry.

I got the Cake e-mail at 9.48pm BST last night - have you subscribed to receive them?

The irony is that the colour of the notification looks prettier than X1

I got that today about 24 hrs after I down loaded it.

I found out about it while in a thread where Seth had made a post with a link in that thread. Otherwise I would not have been that aware of it.

It really did sneak up on me.  But I am not complaining.

I saw it in a thread, then looked for the sticky... I never get emails. Maybe I should check my account settings.

I saw it on their website.  Nice lighted sign saying "SONAR X1C IS AVAILABLE"
Downloaded it, installed and then when I was testing it I got an email from cakewalk, saying the same thing.
And everything but ZTA+2 was on sale :(

I wonder why I never get any emails.. I have been a customer for years and have bought several things, more than several actually, from the CW store. I checked my profile and my email is listed correctly... can't figure it out.

I've just had another one reminding me that Cakewalk are coming to the UK. Unfortunately they don't realise that we have to sell body parts to buy fuel or train tickets in the UK so telling me they are coming - but they'll be at the other end of the country - isn't that useful to me.
I can forward the mail to you if you feel you are missing out .
