how to Show velocities only for selected midi notes?

I just reinstalled sonar 8.53 and previously I could select midi notes in the Piano Roll and it would only show the velocities of those selected notes. Now I can still select the notes but it will not show the associated velocities. Any ideas on how I turn this back on?

    There's a drop-down menu near the top-left corner of the PRV window where you can select the option "Show Velocity on Selected Notes".
