how to combine two mono tracks into one stereo track?

I've got two mono tracks panned left and right.  I want to convert them into one stereo track.  I'm sure it's easy to do - but It's really got me puzzled.  I don't want to re-record it to a stereo track - I know I could do that faster than it took me to ask this question - but I'd like to learn how to do it with a quick command.

Oh ... I suppose I could just highlight the two tracks and export them to a stereo wav and then import the wav back in.  That's pretty easy but I'm still curious if there isn't a way to simply grab the two tracks and tell Sonar to combine them into a stereo track?

Many thanks in advance

    CJ,

    I'm using Sonar 8.5 PDR.

I select two tracks, and use Edit / Bounce To Track  (There isn't a menu choice for Edit / Bounce / Stereo - either Edit / Bounce To Track or Edit / Bounce To Clip). The two mono tracks are panned hard left and right, respectively.

From the Bounce To Track dialog, I select Destination New Track, Source Category New Track, Channel Format Stereo. The option boxes are all checked (default).

I end up with TWO new stereo tracks - one has the left channel with audio and the right channel silent, the other has the right channel and the left channel silent.

What did I do wrong? I want to end up with ONE stereo track containing the two mono tracks audio, one on each channel.

    Thanks!

    Source Category New Track

The source should be Master bus, Main Outs or Entire Mix. You can solo the two tracks to make sure that's all that's included, but just having them selected should do the trick. Choosing Tracks as a source always gives you one new track for each track bounced.
