how to control the speed of "advancing forward & back on the time line"

Hi - I'm on Sonar x 1 still. Not sure what the correct term is but I want to fast forward with the keyboard & I use control + page down but it's way too fast. I thought I remembered a way to change the speed but can't find it. Anyone? Thanks.

I have made a shortcut for "page down" -> "Go to end of this measure or prior measure". And "page up" in the other direction.
So "page down" or "page up" jumps always one measure. Less the one measure does not work.

We digitize tapes, vinyl, dat, md ... in broadcast and studio quality for publishers, public institutions and individuals.

An other way to do it is drop markers and assign hot keys to got to next and previous marker.

Cant remember if this was available in X1 or not but I know in later versions you can assign keyboard shortcuts for FF and REW. I have mine set up right now for #7 REW and #9 for FF.

Look in preferences/Advanced under keyboard shortcuts.
(as I said not sure though if it is available in X1).

Windows 8.1 X64 Sonar Platinum x64
Custom built: Asrock z97 1150 - Intel I7 4790k - 16GB corsair DDR3 1600 - PNY SSD 220GB
Focusrite Saffire 18I8 - Mackie Control
