how to record backing track on this thing?

I understand I can record 1 track like e.g. drums and then playing that back record stereo mix together, right?
Anybody can tell me how to do this?  (I'm talking about stand alone recording of course)
thanks

ok, I got it, shift and cursor/value knob. Sometimes manual is useful...

The part I like about the layering is that although you hear the parts together on the VS-100, they are actually separate files.

    1: Record a Guitar
2: Listen to the guitar while recording the vocal
3: Listening to the new part on the VS-100 will include the vocal and guitar - BUT, when you bring the files into Sonar (or other DAW) they are two separate files.

I've never experimented beyond the above sample - so I'm not sure if this continues with multiple tracks.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

that's really cool, i thought is will be mangled together.
I wonder if left right channels are separated too when loaded in in Sonar?
and are there any problems with timing/synchronization when loading them to DAW?

I like that little box more and more...
