i drag the files to record but lose the original tempo and lose patern

if i try to change tempo the pattern slow down or lose parts

    ---why are you dragging files?  Why are you changing the tempo when your subject line complains about losing the original tempo?  What do you mean you're losing drums?  What do you mean you're losing parts?

    i speak spanish  not well english

    the drums are good but when i drag to midi file to compose the tempo go slower and lose sounds then i try to correct with speed the tempo but the patern go crazy

    only sound good the kit alone if i record patern sound diferent slower and  lose the original patern

    OK - The only kind of MIDI file that will stay with the tempo you have in Sonar is a Groove Clip.  When it is not a Groove Clip already, right click and choose to make it one.  Try this.

    If you are auditioning loops in your browser, make sure that you choose the option to play them at project tempo, otherwise the loops will be previewed at their original tempo. When you drag the loops into your project they will play at project tempo, so the tempo would seem like it is changing if "preview at project tempo" hasn't been selected in your browser. I am not sure why MIDI parts would disappear, but make sure you use the same softsynth in your project as the one used to preview the loop in the browser. Softsynths don't always have the same note ranges or note assignments.
