i so wish sonar had a nice way to...

i so wish sonar had a nice way to do track markers, kinda like the ones we have at the top of the timeline but on a track folder. Or a special track that's just notes. Would make my life as a composer easier and i would have less papers. Perhaps with color-able flags...

    Why not use the icon selector?  Choose an icon that suits your fancy and use it to flag the tracks you want.

    I'm not at my music computer, but I remember some lively discussion when X1 first came out, how it was great to finally have a note pad/sticky note function.  I do believe it's at the top of the inspector, nice big field where you can type notes--Take a look.

    You could try the trick shown in this post.
    Nice workaround. I think that with X1 and your method, you could also use the inspector to add additional detailed notes for each of those MIDI clips? I will have to try that tonight as I'm away from my DAW.
