iZotope RX-2 / Soundsoap

I've used RX-1 but has any one here used Rx-2 AND Soundsoap?
Which works better and or easier and which would you recommend and why?

Are there any others worth looking into while I'm at it?

Oh. Mostly being used for cleaning up some old band tapes and converting to digital realm if that accounts for anything.

RX-2 works great for cleaning up old tapes to digital.
As for easier that is a toss-up
I think Izotope is really user friendly.
Just my 2 cents

FYI, Bias (the company behind Soundsoap) has gone out of business in late June/early July.

I had a really old copy of sound soap - never thought it was much good to be honest and it never got reloaded when I went 64bit - yet another member of my software cemetery......

Thanks guys.
Seeing as I'm already familiar with the workings of RX I was leaning that way.
I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing out on anything 'special' that Soundsoap had to offer.

Gone out of business = nothing to offer.

Rain, nice tat. I love when they're new and have that purple-ish shading.

Thanks, Mike.

I figured it made sense to get a bat tattooed before leaving Gotham. ;)
