would be interested in anything you'd have to say concerning this track:

it's avant rock or something alternative...  heck that's a question right there.   what genre would you put it in?     thanks for your time!

    Well this is interesting.  Its definately funk driven, but your vocals almost had a grungey quality to it.  Kind of reminds me of something Lenny Kravitz would do, but not vocal wise obviously.  I would say alternative, those kind of stations have some wacky blues tunes.

    The Lenny Kravitz reference is right on.  Kind of funky rock.  I like the rawness of it.  Great distortion on the vocals.  And real ballsy and aggressive guitar.  Excellent job on this one!

    thanks for the time and comments!

    i have always like Lenny K, that is the stuff I've heard, never owned anything... i should change that.   sort of the same way with grunge... although i did have some pearl jam back in the day.

    the distortion on the vocals is from my pod xtlive,  i believe is was the same patches as the guitar actually..  but with a presonus tube preamp running into the pod.   it's heavily compressed, but drive breaks it up...    does alot for my low quality voice!

    I'm DIGGIN that funky vibe.  Your vox really reminds me a lot of THE JOHN BUTLER TRIO. The mix on my end is really clean could use a little more bottom end. GREAT tune/performance.
