i'll never use them-can i turn off midi & metronome

at the moment i am using producer for very basic stuff.  i dump a stereo track from my tascam neo and use producer to convert to wav.  can i get the midi & metronome off my template???  the less things on my screen, the simpler it'll be and the quicker i can learn-dave

You can make a normal template that has no midi tracks and has the metronome disabled. You cannot disable all midi function AFAIK.

    Make a template....or.... do as I do.

I open a "new project"  and spend about 30 seconds setting it up. I remove the metronome buss, group the interface faders and pull them both halfway down, I delete the midi track and add about 9 audio tracks and click save.

It takes all of 30 seconds..... maybe one day I will make it into a template so I can save 30 seconds per song.... but for some reason, 30 seconds doesn't see like such a long time. Maybe if someone was holding me under water while I did the set up it would.....

I do not believe you can turn the midi capability off but just delete the midi tracks..... that will solve it.
