image of every Cake download duplicated in Windows 10
Is this right? Every file is saved in two locations. More to the point, I'm upgrading two computers to Windows 10 and I would like to be able to download all the Cake content just once. Which folder should I copy the stuff into? Both? I had to turn off Tablet Mode after doing the install. It thought my old laptop was a tablet. ** EDIT ** I think I must have put it in tablet mode by clicking the Tablet Mode button from the system tray. Tablet Mode = Bad. ** EDIT ** I copied the files into the C:\Users\All Users\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads folder. I did not copy them to two folders. I'm beginning to think it is only a reference of the items in both places. These objects can't really exist twice on the hard drive, can they?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to install Concrete Limiter and CA-2A PC thingys. I'm almost recovered. Those license text files you get with plugin bundles are important, aren't they! ** Edit ** Found them on the Products page of my profile on the Cakewalk.com site. I couldn't figure out how to enter the Registration code for this one... PC2A T-Type Leveling Amplifier Other than that I think I may be back up.

Thanks, and yes. I don't disable the auto-scan anymore. I just let it go with its default settings. It was finding new plugins as I installed them! While backing-up before the re-install of Windows, I found that my documents/celemony folder exceeded 10GB. Thought I'd point this out. Seems like a lot of something that probably doesn't need backing up.

The melodyne separations cache can be deleted. I think there is a way to delete it from the prefs in melodyne. If not it can be deleted manually. Its similar to the picture cache.

I downloaded Sonar X3 and Zeta2 wasn't in there. I'm now grabbing Sonar X2.

Yeah, Anonymungus, but I'm an old customer. I started with the 2002 HomeStudio version. Z3ta+2 was included in one of the versions of Sonar along the way. That's why I went looking for the Sonar installers. I think it was originally included in X1. You didn't have to buy it separately at the time. The Brilliant Scook Although at one time it was part of a bundle called the X1 Production Suite, it should appear as a separate line item in your account.
So it wasn't unreasonable to look for it in X1. But when they re-did how we download stuff, they apparently broke it out as a separate line item. Since I have been using this computer since a whole bunch of version (certainly back to X1) without reinstalling the OS, I had never installed Z3ta by itself. When I installed Windows 10, I formatted the hard drive and so this was the first time I had to go hunting for it. I actually really like Z3ta+2, especially after going through Syntorial and learning my way around a synth.
