importing midi drums,
I was just curious, If I create some drum tracks using ezdrummer and sing mc4,would I be able to import these drums into another program. a friend of mine has a studio and uses a program called Paris. just curious if the drums could transfer to a different program ..

once you bounce the MIDI/EZD tracks to an audio track you can export as a wave file and that can be imported into any DAW.

guitar pro drum tracks cant be imported can they? also, If I was to import a backing midi track, like we were talking about yesterday, would I have to stick to the fake sounding drums or could I use my ezdrummer program to play them back?

You should be able to save and export midi tracks as well. The other program should be able to read them as midi tracks.

Malaki, if you save the MIDI track as a .mid file, or MIDI format 1 or 0 they will play on any MIDI synthesizer, but if you want the EZD sounds, the other computer has to have EZD installed, or use the audio track like Beagle wrote. But you would not be able to edit the audio like you would MIDI.

File-Save As -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The File-Save As command opens the Save As dialog where you can save a project with the name, directory, and format you specify. The formats available are: Normal--Also known as a Project file (extension .cwp) Bundle--Contains all the audio and MIDI data (extension .cwb) Template--Save project settings so you can use them with new projects (extension .cwt) MIDI Format 0--Standard MIDI File that has all channels merged into one track. MIDI Format 1--Standard MIDI File that keeps each channel on a separate track. Riff MIDI Format 0--Riff MIDI File of Format 0. Riff MIDI Format 1--Riff MIDI File of Format 1. That's from the SHS6 help file. If you save a MIDI track (or entire MIDI project) in MIDI format 0 or 1 and save it to a disk and load that disk onto another computer that has some sort of MIDI sequencer, then each track should load into that sequencer and be just as editable as it was on yours. But it won't sound the same as on your computer unless the other computer has the same programs and/or MIDI devices.
