install: Cake only or with additional content

Hi,
 
I'm not sure if I'll start using it right or stick with the last splat version but I can't resist to at least installing it....but
 
I haven't read anything about the "install only coke or with additional content" option....rrrrr
 
Since addition content = , in particular,  instruments suite" what am I getting into. Something new or just what we already have? Is the installer overwriting the existing splat folder or is everything "different" is installed in different subfolder?
 
I am a worried control freak so what can I say...(-:
