instrument definitions

I'm hoping this will show up on google searches.... since I am usually always the one searching for instrument definitions that don't exist, and this forum has helped me so much recently, I thought I would post my file in case anyone is searching for synths that I happen to have INS files for.

A lot of these I typed in manually but all of them are modified to my specs.  My system is to write "guitar" after every single guitar patch, for example, (no abbreviations) so that I can search for "guitar" and every patch will come up.  I don't remember every keyword I use but for example typing Piano, Keys, Organ, Guitar, Bass, Strings, Brass, Synth, Arp, Lead, Pad, etc, will bring up every patch regardless of the actual patch name.  Like a patch that's called "Jimmy B3" I have renamed to be "Jimmy B3 Organ" to make it searchable.  "Heavy Gtr" is renamed "Heavy Guitar".  Make sense?

Also a lot of these might not work depending on user patches loaded, etc.  On the Integra-7, for example, you can load any 4 of the SRX cards at any time, I think I have 7, 8, 9, 10 loaded so that's what my INS file reflects.  Anyway it's a starting place.

(I wish I had saved the definitions for all of my ex-synths... probably ~20 or so over the years that I've deleted once I get rid of them...,)

Here's the file:

Roland V-Synth XT
Roland Integra-7
Roland Fantom XR
Roland XV5080

Link is weird... I had to click "save as" and then change the extension from .html to .ins in order to save it properly.  Anyway if it doesn't work and you want the file send me a PM and I'll email it to you.

Hi Matt!  I was wondering if you still had this file laying around.  It's not on your site any more.  Hopefully you can save me the time of building an ins for the electro 2.

    Thanks!

Oops fixed the link... I don't know it does a ton of good for the Nord, there's not a ton of presets and I feel like I mostly just made up names to call them...

I'm trying to do the file definition of instruments for Roland BK-9 blending the file banks BK-9 with the percussion of BK7m and then it turns out the screen piano roll does not take notes as diamonds, takes as normal notes other tracks.
Someone knows the parameter that uses sonar to determine the diamond figure to pull in piano roll. ??

    Other question:
it's posible  make one instruments definitions file for sonnar, that list the instruments by type, no by bank??

with the bank metod, when the instrument have many definitions (BK-9 more than 1700), is hard to find the desired instrumen, if you do not read the parameters, searching on a paper list of instruments.
