Hi, does anyone use or know of a decent keypad app for iphone..

my idea is that it could be handy for step record or a rhythm value selector for score view.

Got it working now adding my own controls ... score view, piano roll shortcuts....

    step record values work too...

but are there any keyboard shortcuts for note values in score view?????????

nice thing about this is that the layouts can be shared....

Global bind -  and it works! yipee....!!

aslo cool feature is that you can import GFX into the switches...   anyone have a collection of note icons gfx handy?

Does global binding change the step record bindings? sorta like overrules it?

This seems like a great idea. I was playing with the step sequencer in the DM-1 drum machine app on my wife's iPad. I was bummed that I couldn't access the Sonar step sequencer the same way. Are you saying that you have a method of doing this? Could you explain a little more for a newb like me? I guessing you need some sort of wireless connection between the iPad and PC. How did you do it?

Well - I purchased the Custom keypad - bout £2.50 - there's a version for ipad and iphone..

I then installed the free "tightvnc" on my computer.   Selected portfwarding on my router for VNC.

Now the only 2 niggles I had was.... the custom keypad has a problem sending capitals..

It also has problem with the shift key so using ctrl+shift+1 to get a whole note in score view was worked around by doing ctrl+!   .

I've only had this for a brief time so the icons I have created are note perfect to look at yet...

For notation users it adds the ability to select rhythm values which is missing...   Its seems possible  make keystrokes for dotted rhythms too - which I will have a look at ...

Trying to make shortcuts for screensets soon...

Cool idea.  I have the AC7 mini app for remote control record/play when away from the console - but this is actuall MUCH BETTER!!

I got it working within a view minutes.  Same problem here with the shift key - I found that I had to use a CAP with the shift key.

i.e.: shift + r (did not work to bring up step record)
           shift + R (did work)

    Thanks for the tip
