is X2 Studio toX2 Producer upgrade seamless

Hello All-
 
I am in the process of upgrading from X2 Studio to X2 Producer. I downloaded a bunch of files from Cakewalk, (Read this first; Sonar Producer parts 1-4;Loops & One Shots 1-3; A couple Dimension Pro files and Additional Content).
 
Question1: Do I need to uninstall anything before executing the above?
Question2: Will I loose my custom settings such as layouts,  EQ presets in Sonitus etc.?
 
My apologies if this has been answered before. I am having trouble with the forum search tool today. Probably my fault.

    You do not have to uninstall anything especially if you want to maintain your existing modifications. All of your mods should stay intact.

    X2 Studio and X2 Producer will install in their own directory independent of one another. The install will ask if you wish to migrate your settings.

    only issue I had is with the bundled soundpacks, 
     
    Obviously these are not the same from Studio or producer edition, 
    so when you uninstall Studio, it erases that soundpack too, 
    and installing PE over does not put the same sounds. 
     
    So I did lose some oneshots and loops from the bundled library for quite a bunch of songs. 
    not ones that are in the project itself (but ones that were in 3rd party sample players or stuff like that). 
     
    But opening projects done on Studio onto PE works just fine.
