is tempo on blue window assignable?

Just downloaded demo version and playing with, one thing I'd like to be able
is changing tempo from my control surface, are they assignable those tiny +/- buttons?
I like to have tap tempo on my keyboard.

V-Studio 100, Sony VAIO i7 2.93GHz/ 8GB RAM, Pianoteq, Sonar X1 Studio, ezDrummer, Macbook Pro, Roland RD700GX stage piano, Yamaha Motif XS6 workstation, Rode NT-1A, AKG Perception 220

    ok, I should search forum first before post, just found some info that it's not possible...
    Cakewalk are you completely gone mental???  

    how come some obvious, logical features are not implemented? 

    DO they listen to customer at all?
