is there "SOLO" automation function?

i'm finding it difficult to conceive that sonar (8.5) would employ an automated "mute" function, yet NOT have the same capablility for the "solo" function as well. is there some obtuse way to employ soloing a track(s) in an automated way?

    No way to automate the solo function directly, AFAIK. Fortunately, it's trivial to achieve the effect using volume envelopes.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
