is windows 8 working with a presonus firebox & X2?

I just bought a new laptop with windows 8. Is X2 working good with win 8? Also, I have an old presonus firewire firebox.  has anyone checked that out with windows 8?

    X2 and windows 8 is excellent  here.
    I'm using an old Presonus Firestudio 26x26 through firewire and it works well
    so I think the Firebox should work.
    As usual, try to use a firewire port with a Texas Instruments or Via chipset.

    Are you hoping for 32-bit or 64-bit? 

    My experience with PreSonus drivers in the past has been that they work ok on 32-bit and are spotty with a 64-bit machine/OS.

    Hope that has changed since my last experience in May.
