it's something simple I know but.....

For some reason Melodyne 2 Editor (not essential) has disappeared from the region efx drop down menu. I remember reading something about this happening to others but I did a search and the forum search says no entries on this subject...even when I just enter Melodyne ???
 
Any ideas or links?

    Could it be this post where the OP was pointed to this article to solve the problem?

    well, err, thanks I guess, but I am not in the thread you linked and I have Platinum not X3, so , well, yeah... not much there. However I will try the rescan operation again...

    just followed that procedure. Still nothing.

    Is the VST3 plug-in installed and available in the plug-in list?

    I ended up finding the fix via a google search!!! http://forum.cakewalk.com/Solved-Melodyne-not-Essential-not-appearing-in-region-fx-m3187579.aspx  I knew it was here somewhere I did a re-image if the hard drive which is why it disappeared
