jbridge install issue with BDF eco

Hi,

I installed BDF eco and tested using Cakewalk bitbridge.  No problem but a slight delay when playing finger drums due to BFD eco being 32 bit.

I then purchased jbridge and installed it on my 64 bit system.  Now, when I scan VST's I get the following two messages:
Message 1:
Warning! Your Main VST host (Cakewalk VST 4.5) is not running with administrator privileges - jbridge may not work properly.

To solve this, locate its shortcut, right-click it, choose "Properties", and in the "Compatibility" tab enable the "Run the program as an administrator" option.
=============
I don't know where to find the Cakewalk VST 4.5 file to change it's properties.  Do you know where to find it?

Message 2:
Error saving settings file (C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\BFDECO\BFD Eco.jBridge) - please make sure you have write permissions in the folder
===============
I have verified that I do have write permissions for the \BFDECO folder but I there is no BFD Eco.jBridge file in it.

I appreciate any help with this.  Do you think I need to call Cakewalk Support?

Thanks much.

    Firstly (and I could be wrong) but I very much doubt that any delay/latency
    would be caused by 32 bit v 64 bit.

    The error messages sound like you need to change you "UAC" (user account control") settings.
    Go to control panel/user accounts/change user account control settings//

    You see a page saying "choose when to be notified about changes to your computer" you want "never" so just move the slider down to the bottom.

    That should solve one, if not both of your problems as they both look to be
    permissions related.

    The easiest way to use jbridge is from within sonar go to your plug in manager, click on a perticular plug in you wish to use jbridge with, select properties and you'll see on the right side of the dialog a tick box saying, load using jbridge wrapper.

    Thanks Twaddle, I will follow your recommendations.  For the 32/64 bit issue, without jbridge, I get a slight delay when using my midi keyboard.  With jbridge, I don't hear a delay.  It seems that jbridge helps this scenario and I have read that elsewhere in other posts.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi! I don't use BDF but I have the new Jbridge 1.4 installed, and I have no issus so far. I think is better then old 1.3 version.
    98% of all my plugins are in x64...
