hey scotty, you know when xenophile and I first did this, i recorded the guitar parts with my Demeter Isolation cab (mesa boogie cranked)... then a couple of years later, i revisited the recording, never liked the original guitar tone, and simply re-recorded the track, using the boogie, but this time, i put power tube adapters in it, that changed my lovely fat 6L6's into EL84's (more like the vox ac30 blackmore used to record the original) and i remixed it. i listened to the original mix a lot, and just went to town with the new one, trying to cop the panning, and eq, compression, and to an extent, the reverb, not trying to 'pin it', but getting close. so this one MIGHT be different than the first one we put out.....

Zargg71 Hi. This was great, batsbrew Took me way back.. All the best.
HEY ZARGG, thanks man, yea, it's old stuff for sure... i mean, when you think about the fact that those guys had their whole recording plans ripped out from underneath them, and they made do with the situation they had, it all informed those performances in that chateau.... kinda cool. still stands up.

Having played this song live in the past and knowing it really well... yeah, it works. I usually don't hear much in the way of keys from you, but the organ solo was spot on! Naturally the guitars were too, but hey, no surprises there (very in-sync during the harmony open E string picking part). And the vocals are very Ian-ish (nice use of delay).
