just installed...some vst madness

So I just made a clean install of X1 meaning I uninstalled 8.5 before. Browsing through the VSTs inside of X1 I still get the option to use the Dreamstation VSTi but as soon as I drag and drop it into my project it gives me a error message.
I looked up every possible VST location to get rid of Dreamstation but I just can't find it...anyone any ideas? Strange things happening here ^^

Also Camel Crusher doesn't seem to work in X1a 64bit (win7). Is there any 64bit version or any way to get it to run. I really love the Camel Crusher vst for vocals and would hate to loose it in the progress.

other than that. x1 is great!

You should be able to disable (exclude) it using the Plug-in manager which resides in the Utilities menu.

Have you looked in DirectX instruments?

Sounds like there may be a Dreamstation registry setting lingering. If you're familiar with the registry have a search for it and delete the entries. If you're not familiar with the registry and how it works, stay well away!
Also, isn't Dreamstation one of those 32 bit only DXi's? Have you got both 32 and 64 bit versions of X1 installed? I may be wrong, but I think you can still install Dreamstation with the 32 bit X1. Could you maybe use the X1 install program to remove it (ie. go back in to setup and deselect it)? Just throwing some ideas around. HTH.

Well, I think I shouldn't dive into the registry as I am not too pro in these kind of things.
Dreamstation should be an artifact of my old Sonar 8.5 32bit install...still don't know how to get rid of it. I'll try to uninstall it with the X1 disc but as it wasn't delleted after uninstalling 8.5 I think it won't help much
