keeping professional updated on the drive

i am actually thinking of uninstalling pro. i did nothing much before upgrading to platinum. i could see if it was an older version, but it's really the same program inside. what is your advice?  as always, thanks. bad shift keys sorry for no caps.

You mean you have Sonar Professional and Platinum both installed? In that case yeah it seems like you could get rid of Professional. Although unless you need the few hundred MBs it occupies it isn't really in the way either.

Just be careful which options you choose once the uninstaller starts. It will get to a point where it will ask you to choose whether or not to delete certain shared components.

Are you short of disk space? Compare the two directory sizes S-Plat and Pro and also you user directories.
