Re: Need help connecting midi controller to Sonar Artist 2016/10/02 05:34:53 (permalink)
Hi, and welcome to this forum. Did you register the LX61, and download the latest drivers, and firmware updates?
Here is a getting started page which hopefully helps. http://www.nektartech.com/s.nl/ctype.KB/it.I/id.8691/KB.666/.f?sc=26&category=21c
You need to login / register to get access to drivers and firmware.
When you have done that, open SONAR and go to Preferences (P), MIDI, Devices and check the LX 61 as MIDI in and out. Hope it helps.
All the best.

You are welcome.
Yes it can be a little daunting at first, but watch some videos, read the manual and do some tutorials.
Things will get easier after a while
If you encounter any further issues, there are always someone here (on this forum) willing to help.
Include as much info as you can, when asking for help.
And it is also very helpful to include your specs in your signature (see mine below). Makes for a much easier troubleshooting.
It is done from the user control panel (found on top of each page), signature and comment.
All the best.
