low frequency hum during playback

I had this problem one to many times, took 3 weeks to figure it out.i posted this problem a few weeks ago,and someone told me to check my connections etc...well for anyone who has ever had this problem,i suggest investing in a cable detective!!!!they are worth the investment because the cable that was giving me problems was brand new and not cheap either.i went to MF and bought a Rolls CT1 cable detective,a great investment!!!! whoever suggested checking my cables etc..... thank you!!!!!

I've had cable problems before as well and it drove me nuts until I started swapping cables out. i don't have a "cable detective" but it sounds like a good investment. even expensive cables can have defects and can go bad!

Maybe if the cables would learn the words, they wouldn't have to hum.
