low noise on Edirol PC-80

Hi all,

i buy a Edirol PC-80. It is a keyboard with an audio usb interface. All programms work ( Cuabse, Korg Legacy ), except Project5 2.0 and Sonar LE.

My computer is a Toshiba p100 191. Please don't ask my some useless question about the hardware. It is a hi end computer.

But on an older laptop it works perfect. Project 5 and PC-80.

One hint: it looks like, that project 5 could use pc-80 as audio output, but the noise is extrem low. ( german: der audio ausgang ist viel zu leise )

Thanks

do i have to configure as ASIO driver? Please, Please, Please post smart answeres - no raise the mixer to max **** or did you conect the calbles.

Could it be this? Try different values in Justify.

most significant bit and least significant bit. I think it has something to deal with the order in which bits are being processed,

say, if you have 1100001 in MSB, it would be 1000011 in LSB, which is why you can hear some clicks and noises when the volume of your tracks are very loud.

I may be completely wrong here, that's just the way I interpret it.
