    I only knew of the pie kind of pasties until Bapu brought them up...

    I liked the idea of wearing meat and tater pies as knee pads.  It brought new meaning to the thought of grazing my knees.

    Although pasties seems to be loosely used in some parts, the correct term is chicken fat and this is also used for medicinal purposes.
