Redditch - named after the battle of Redditch - Red ditches full of blood - Rik Mayall's best character IMO

 
He was good as Kevin Turvey, but I think I liked him best in The Young Ones.
 
And I reckon the Alan B'Stard character he portrayed in The New Statesman was spot on, and very funny.
