Arternoon Daryl. Is your piano broken? :-)

:P

actually, we had a flood in the basement and that's where my studio lives. Trying to dry everything out then I will have to wash the carpet to get rid of the stink.
2 feet of snow followed by a 70 degree day = too much water.

I have this sudden, overwhelming urge to slap Yoko Ono.
And I don't know where it came from.

I bet if she did a 'book tour type of thing' where she traveled around from city to city and charged $10 per slap she'd make more than the Stones did on their last tour.

Hell I'd most likely get back in line at least 3 or 4 times.

Sorry to hear that mate. Nothing damaged I hope?

Two years ago we had snow followed by temps of -15C. When the snow in the gutters finally melted on a sunny day melted the water couldn't get away because the downpipes were frozen solid, so it came back into the house and out of the upstairs basins, overflowed, then down through the ceiling. What a mess.

Nothing damaged luckily but it has put me back until I can get the carpet sorted out. It smells like monkeys* have been living in there.
