I heard good things about Libre Office also...but haven't done any research on either of them..

Interesting...   Downloading...

 Libre Office seems to have more, "bells and whistles," and Open Office is a bit more, "fast and naked."

Libre is noticeably slower, and a bit buggy..  and I just noticed that in the first 5 seconds...


but ya know..  we guys on these music boards work with so much software, than we can kinda, "see its functionality, very quickly."   Especially when you consider that you are looking at a simple word processor application...  1, 2, 3 you can get an insight...

I think Open Office is a bit better...
