Hey Daryl,

The main CH page show that you posted something here, but I sure can't find it.  FYI.

[Edit]

Weird.  I guess there was a delay displaying page 69!  Whoo-hoo!
I noticed that on the last page - the first post on a new page doesn't show the new page or work with the "First unfunny unread post" button. You have to use the "Go to last post" button.

And the post counts are different everywhere too. I think someone is embezzling posts.
Hi Drew,

The server seems to take its sweet a** time to update when a new page is involved.  I think it takes even longer if tow posts are submitted at the same time.  I saw Daryl's and Jim's posts both appeared when I did finally see the new page.

All I can say is patience, Grasshopper.

Take care,
Jan

Oh, just realized I may have misread something and/or that one of my posts could have caused confusion...
The "humility lesson" was in regards to my cousin's ragging on me during that fourth game of darts, not any posts in this thread.

I thought it was about the darts.

I heard he can play his Alembic in his sleep too.
He must be ambidextrous.

I heard his playing sounds like he's asleep...

If he could hold a bass in either hand would he be ambilembic?

Maybe.  Or would it be ambilembicexbealadoscious?  In either case, I think it would be redundant--entertaining, but redundant.  If he's holding one Alembic in each hand, I don't even want to know how's how he's playing the strings.

Were the dinosaurs still around during the Alembic period?

Were the dinosaurs still around during the Alembic period?

Yes, but amps had not been invented yet.

Oh...  Is this when Chapman Sticks were invented too?  (Met a guy who plays one yesterday - I now know two players.)

What do chapped lips have to with Alembics?

I told I didn't want to know how you play two at once.
