Man...  Just when I could really use some TOTP money there's now new competition for 'em!
 
My car engine decided to just cut off on Saturday and I gave it last rights today when I heard back from the mechanic.  As I feared, the timing belt broke so fixing that along with enough other stuff to keep it running for a while is more than the car is worth.  Yay.
 
Now I have to find another extremely cheap car until I start making some decent money (which could be as soon as two months!).  Life sure knows how to make things a challenge, doesn't it? 

I have a baby blue jaguar xj-6 for sale.  It has dayton wire wheels.

I bet you want more than $1,000 for it though.

I would see if I could find a 70-80's small Toyota. They usually run until rust kills them..
Had a couple in my youth. One Corolla ('78) I had, was ALWAYS stopped by police and most others that had reason to stop me, just because of the way it looked.
When I bought it it was green, with the clear cote pealing off all over.
Then I painted it black, and put luminescent tape on "strategic" places. That car was visible even in pitch black 
I got more for it when I scrapped it, than what I bought it for 

Yeah, those (older) Toyota's just know how to live a long life.....my first car was a 80 Corolla (SR5) and that things was just used/abused until it croaked at about 290k miles. My parents also had a Toyota (Cressida) which also went the distance......great cars they were.
 
Sorry, to hear that Craig....good luck with finding another.  

Today when I put on my trousers my belt now fit at the fourth hole, while not too long ago it would only fit on the first.
 
But after I am done torturing myself, what am I meant to do with the two pairs of expensive 38" waist trousers I bought?
