Not sure what drum VSTs you have but juan could argue (I can) that NI's approach to multi-out drums is a real hassle. So if you have Sup/EZD2/Slate/BFD you probably can also get by without installing the various drums.

I don't have any of those udder juans (just old stuff and the juan that kame with Sonar). And even older HW romplers.
Also I kan do real analog drums, but then I'm not really into analog drums. And I have some real percussion toys and sum hand drums that I kan play and sound just like sumjuan who kan't play drums.
 
And I already have the NI 60's and 70's juans installed. EDIT: I have Studio drummer too - forgot about that juan.

I sea you're getting a gnu HD to install all those drums in K11U......eggshillint.

I'm so precise that I have aktually have a spreadsheet so I can see what I have vs. what I wud get with each new version.

"Precise"? No, I would say cheap is more like it - I want to know exaktly what I'm getting for my money so I do krazy, neurotic things like wasting time making spreadsheets and reading manuals before I buy sumthing.

I've never even heard of that. 
 
But I'm pretty much through with new plugins. I really only did the Komplete upgrade thingy for the gnu Reaktor - I just decided the rest of it was worth the additional kost akkording to my spreadsheet. 
 
Udder than that, the only plugin stuff I've bought the last couple of years was a handful of fairly cheap individual plug upgrades and also added a couple of cheap M-Tron expansions that were on sale a while back.
 
I really, really, really don't want or need any more compressors or EQ's or much of anything else at this point, not to mention I went to the dark side of money sucking HW with the modular anyways.

Beware! The costs of the dark side are high and you probably can't go back juance ewe go there.
 
And it's not practical or really "better" or anything like that. What it is is complicated and immediate and often unpredictable and definitely not reliably reproducible. So you end up with "do it now, because tomorrow it's going to be gone and you can't really expect to find your way back" (tomorrow you go someplace else!). 
 
Which is another way of saying it's expensive and unproductive. And addictive, especially for those who lack focus or discipline and want to explore.
