No, it's forbidden by law to drink in a public place 
I remember having a beer when seeing a movie in California, though. That was nice

There are some theatre's here where you can have dinner and drinks.....of course, I don't how good the food, drinks, and movie will be.
 
The lad will like hanging out with you and going to the movies.....he'll have to wait to get home for Beer O'clock.
