A bit of wisdom for you young 'uns from an old git - working long, long hours, late into the night, weekends etc - waste of time. It only decreases your ability to work productively the next day. Better off putting a decent day, 8-9 hours, and then getting some rest.
I did a LOT of all-nighters and weekends back in the 90s - all I got was old and tired.
I've been working on some brain/mind stuff (hey, it IS what I was trying to get a PhD in, ya know?) plus upgrading all of the supplements I take and improving my diet (next up - exercise improvements). I'm finding that I look and feel up to 20 years younger than I am (I'll be 55 next year).
In August I had a few all nighters during a big move for my largest client and I zipped through them like I was a kid (better actually). My goal is to get the internet stuff going so whatever I'm doing won't be "work" even if others might consider it that. I believe that anything you enjoy doing doesn't feel like work and, therefore, doesn't wear you down or out.
I would probably last less than a day doing what James does though!
